(Philadelphia, PA) – McKean Defense Group announced today it was awarded a contract to support Machinery Control, Damage Control, Condition Base Maintenance, and related Systems and equipment on all US Navy, Coast Guard, Army, Military Sealift Command and Foreign Military ships. The three-year contract, awarded by Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division-Ship Systems Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) is valued at over $13 million and provides support to the Machinery Information, Sensors, and Control Systems Division.
Work scope includes planning and program management support, system design and integration, test and evaluation engineering, software development, life cycle maintenance, integrated logistics support, installation coordination, operations and training support, and component obsolescence support. McKean’s teammates include companies with a long history of support to NSWCCD-SSES, including LCE, Oak Management, PGMF, Tech Marine, Gastops, NDI, QED, Delphinus, Romulus and CAC.

Work on the contract will be performed at NSWCCD-SSES Division headquarters in Philadelphia, PA and at the waterfront in Virginia Beach, VA and San Diego, CA.
