(Philadelphia, PA) – McKean Defense Group, LLC announced it was awarded five year contract to support the operation, maintenance and enhancement of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) information technology infrastructure. The contract was awarded on 24 February 2011 with a value of over $33 million.
McKean Defense began NSWCCD infrastructure support in July 2009. The current five year base award includes operation, maintenance and design of the Research, Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) network, as well as administration of the Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) and Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN). Other support includes engineering services, design and installation of network extensions, telecommunications services, system administration and video telecommunications support. Work is executed in Philadelphia, PA and West Bethesda, MD.
