(Philadelphia, PA) – McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today that its Cabrillo Technologies business unit was awarded a $37M contract to provide afloat, ashore, and airborne networks and information systems technical support services. The indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract was awarded by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and has a five-year period of performance.
“This win builds on Cabrillo’s three years of support to SPAWAR’s CANES, Operation Rolling Tide, Legacy Networks, MSC and Application Integration,” said Joseph Carlini, Chief Executive Officer of McKean Defense. “This is the first prime win for the business unit. With a healthy submitted bid backlog, and aggressive capture already in process, I know Cabrillo will continue its exponential growth.”
Tasking will include assessing network requirements; designing system architecture; network modeling, simulation, and testing; network technology and prototype development; network security; information assurance and certification of networks; and network management. Cabrillo Technologies created a team of incumbent and niche providers to address SPAWAR needs. Large business partners include CSRA (formerly CSC) and Leidos Inc., both previous primes.
