What We Provide

Our competencies include ship sustainment and modernization; information technologies and cyber security; and combat systems engineering, with customers spanning the Department of Defense including the Naval Sea Systems Command, the Naval Surface Warfare Centers, Fleet activities including the Surface Force and the Navy Regional Maintenance Centers, Army Watercraft Systems and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. No matter which customer we are supporting, our priority is to assure affordable shipboard readiness across the Navy’s Maintenance Engineering community.

Combat Systems Engineering

To maintain its unique Warfighting dominance, the Navy must balance investments in combat readiness, capability, and capacity in a complex world of systems and platforms. McKean Defense understands the complicated environment in which the Navy operates and offers engineering and technical expertise to help the Navy chart a course— where and when it matters to U.S. national security. Our Combat Systems Engineering services support solutions that improve workforce efficiencies and expertise, business operations, logistics, and lifecycle management.
