Customized Training Improves Operational Environment Performance
The Navy expects its personnel to be ready to perform with decisiveness and precision in real-world situations. To the Fleet, McKean Defense delivers specialized instruction to provide global Electronic Chart Display & Information System – Navy (ECDIS-N) training that aligns customized curricula with Navy performance expectations. At locations around the world, our trainers provide classroom and shipboard experiences to ensure that Type Commanders (TYCOMs), Afloat Training Groups (ATGs), and Immediate Superior In Commands (ISIC) possess both knowledge and hands-on expertise so that they are prepared to assess Fleet assets during scheduled inspections. Our trainers employ their 60-plus years of operational and testing experience to prepare the material from ground up to ensure that each session provides in depth procedures on the proper use and maintenance of the system. Classroom training includes simulation exercises to assess the students’ abilities to optimize the software in real world environments.
