McKean Wins New Work

(Philadelphia, PA) – McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today that it was awarded an $8M contract to support new work out of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD).

This five-year contract is for Engineering, Technical, Programmatic, Logistics, Maintenance, Installation, Life Cycle Management, and Software Support for the Energy Conversion Research and Development (R&D) for Code 325.

McKean has supported this customer for over six years under various contracts providing integrated services for their R&D programs. Now, our team will continue this support through high visible programs and technologies including: Advanced CO2 Removal Unit (ACRU), Thermal Management, Energy Storage Modules, Electromagnetic Railgun, and the Power & Energy Dynamic Assessment Laboratory (PEDAL).
